Serving the Kalamazoo, Southwest and Mid Michigan areas, we specialize in a variety of small scale excavation and post hole drilling projects. Our equipment is compact enough to fit through a 45" wide opening thus enabling access to back yards or other confined spaces. We use tracked machinery which offers low impact to the work site and surrounding areas leaving little residual evidence behind.
Post hole drilling
Whether it's for fencing, pole barns, deck footings or decorative plantings, we offer a variety of post hole diameters and have 9", 18" and 24" augers available with depths to 48".
Storage Shed Site Prep
Need a level spot for a backyard storage shed? We'll remove the top soil, prepare the site and replace with crushed aggregate (rock or crushed concrete) graded level.
Light Excavating and Grading in Confined Spaces
Gaining access to work areas which would ordinarily be the domain of hand work only, we are able to move dirt, place landscaping materials and otherwise adjust grades to satisfy customer needs.
Stump Grinding
With a narrow access stump grinder, we are able to quickly grind away unsightly stumps in backyards or other confined spaces. Due to the compact size of our equipment, we are limited in scope to stumps smaller than approximately 24" in diameter, however.
Shrub Removal
Using a hydraulic tree and shrub grapple, our machinery is capable of removing shrubs from confined spaces. Most residential shrub removal projects are completed quickly and result in significant time savings for property owners.
Owner Assisted Landscaping
Using a large diameter auger and pallet forks, we are able to place small to medium size shrubs and nursery trees. We're also able to move bulk mulch, dirt and other landscape materials from the dump site to work area.
Services are dependent on weather conditions and are normally available from early spring to late fall or until the ground is either too wet for site access or frozen. Unseasonably warm and dry weather offers an extended work season. Please call us with questions. (269) 251-7923
